Isatou Jallow is a single mother working at a local market in Banjul. She shares her thoughts regarding the negative impacts regarding lack of educational opportunties. 

Like most families living below the poverty line, Fatoumatta Sillah cannot afford her son's school fees. She watched her sons drop-out of school because of financial problems. However, she firmly believes that one day her kids will have a better life.

Amet Sidibeh works at the local market in Banjul, Republic of  The Gambia. He believes education is crucial for national development.

Like most families living below the poverty line, Momodou Diop did not have the opportunity to receive an education, and he could not imagine his children suffering the same fate. He is now working really hard to pay his children's school fees.
